Day-by-Day Itinerary

Please note that the below sample itinerary is not representative of your final itinerary (unless you choose not to personalize it further). The purpose of this itinerary is to provide you with a general idea of what your day might look like. Your actual day-by-day itinerary will be fully customized to suit your trip schedule and specific needs.

Day 1

Get ready for the trip of a lifetime! Today, you’ll take your flight to Berlin, Germany. Upon arrival, you will go through customs and immigration. A representative will be waiting for you as you exit immigration to transfer you to your hotel.

Check in to your hotel, then head out to explore the city. Head to the colorful, trendy neighborhood of Prenzlauer Berg. Kollwitz Platz is a popular spot; this square houses cafes, restaurants, and charming boutiques. You’ll also find a charming market here on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Grab dinner here before heading back to your hotel.

Day 2

Enjoy a half-day guided walking tour through the Mitte district. You’ll visit landmarks from the city’s Nazi and Cold War eras through to the present day, getting a glimpse into how the German capital has evolved. See the iconic Berlin Wall, the Brandenburg Gate and the Holocaust Memorial, then hear the amazing tales of Cold War Berlin at Checkpoint Charlie.

This evening, head to AltesZollhaus for dinner, which serves up gourmet German cuisine in a beautiful German country-style Fachwerk house. It’s situated directly on the Landwehr canal in Kreuzberg and has beautiful surroundings.

Day 3

Today you’ll head on an exciting day trip to Dresden, home to a wealth of culture and elegant architecture. You’ll be transported by coach, then given a guided tour of the city center on foot. Learn more about the area’s history, exploring the Zwinger Palace, Semperoper and more.

The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure in Dresden. Perhaps you’ll wander the city’s lush parks, marvel at stunning architecture, or stroll along the riverbanks of the Elbe. Back in Berlin, head out tonight to discover the nightlife the city is famous for.

Day 4

Start your final day by heading to Gendarmenmarkt, a beautiful town square full of Berlin’s historic structures such as the Berlin Concert Hall, the French Cathedral and the German Church. Afterward, head to Museum Island to see Berlin’s largest and most

Head to both the Altes “Old” and the Neues “New” Museums. The first houses exhibits dedicated to antiquity, with objects from ancient Greece and the Roman Empire. The Neues Museum contains two exhibits – one offering an insight into Egyptian and Nubian cultures, and the other into archaeological findings from Europe and Asia.

Day 5

Enjoy breakfast in Berlin, then continue your adventure as you fly from Berlin to Prague. Upon arrival in Prague, clear customs and immigration, then make your way to your hotel. If you’d like to book a transfer to your hotel, just let us know. 

Begin your visit in the Old Town; the Old Town Square is the historical heart of Prague, and it’s here that you’ll find the famous Astronomical Clock, dating back to the 14th century. Climb to the top of the tower (don’t worry, there’s an elevator too) and take in panoramic views of the city. For lunch (or dinner – or both!) head to U Vejvodu for traditional goulash and roast pork knee with cabbage and dumplings.

Day 6

See everything Prague has to offer on a city walking tour and boat cruise, which you’ll finish with a typical Czech lunch. Take in the city’s landmarks on foot, learning more about the vast and varied history of Prague as you’re guided through the city on a walking tour. Afterwards, you’ll see Prague from a different perspective with a 1-hour boat cruise on the waters of the Vltava River.

This evening, why not catch a performance at the famous Estates’ Theatre? This magnificent theatre is where Mozart’s Don Giovanni was first staged in 1787 and is not to be missed.

Day 7

Visit Petrín Park today, the city’s biggest and most beautiful. It offers spectacular views across Prague, and you’ll find a garden and a maze here, as well as lookout tower that resembles the Eiffel Tower. Climb the 299 steps to the top for an amazing panorama of Prague.

Afterward, head to the neighborhood of Kampa to see the John Lennon Wall, a representation of love and peace. Then relax in Kampa, stopping to enjoy one of the many restaurants and cafes in the area. This evening, head out to experience the fabulous nightlife Prague is famous for.

Day 8

Get up early today and head to Charles Bridge to see a plethora of statues and touch the Cross of St. Jan of Nepomuk. Afterwards, stroll around the quaint streets of Lesser Town, the home of many foreign embassies, where you’ll find numerous pretty churches to explore.

Stop at the beautiful cloisters of Strahov Monastery for a beer and a snack, then explore Wenceslas Square, Prague’s busiest and liveliest square. Stop at one of the quaint restaurants of Kampa Park to celebrate your final evening in Prague.

Your Last Day in Prague

Sadly, your trip has come to an end. A representative will be waiting for you at your hotel for your private transfer to the airport.

Additional Days

Should you wish to add extra days to existing cities/destinations or add new destinations to your pre-designed package, you will be able to do so during the submission process. Note that this will incur additional planning fees per additional day at checkout. Your final package cost will also change depending on how many additional travel components are needed for the extra days.
