Day-by-Day Itinerary

The purpose of this itinerary is to provide you with a general idea of what your day might look like. Your actual day-by-day itinerary will be fully customized to suit your trip schedule and specific needs.

Day 1

Welcome to Bangkok! Upon arrival, you’ll clear customs and immigration and head to the arrivals hall, where a representative will meet you for the transfer to your hotel.

After check-in, fight jet lag and head out to explore the city. Bangkok is home to an amazing array of night markets, and they all offer a glimpse into life as the locals live it! Take in the bustling markets, bright lights and exotic smells, grab a bite to eat from a local food vendor, then head back to your hotel for a good night’s rest.

Day 2

Today, head to Bangkok’s best-known landmarks such as the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. The Grand Palace allows you to admire the splendor of Thai royal heritage, while Wat Pho offers a fabulous insight into the Buddhist religion.

This evening, head out to explore Bangkok on an exclusive tuk-tuk tour of the city. You’ll get to bypass the traffic as you take off-the-beaten-track routes toward the bustling 24-hour flower market and illuminated temples. You’ll enjoy dinner followed by dessert at an authentic mystery spot.

Day 3

Spend your last day in Bangkok exploring the sights you’ve yet to see. Perhaps you’d like to add a Damnernsaduak Floating Market tour to your itinerary, where you can sample traditional Mekong food at a floating market. This evening, head to the backpacker hub of Khao San Road to see Bangkok nightlife in full swing – the bright neon lights and bustling bars are a must-see. If you’re feeling daring, try barbecued scorpions, maggots and spiders from a street-side stall!

Day 4

Head to the airport this morning for your flight to Chiang Mai, one of Thailand’s most beautiful, unique and exotic cities.

Perhaps you’d like to explore the Old City and the ruins of the old walls and moat at your own pace. If not, we offer a plethora of sightseeing tours that you may like to add to your itinerary; a city and temples tour offers you an overview of the city, with visits to Chiang Mai’s most important temples.

This evening, head to a local restaurant or food stall to try Khao Soi, a curried noodle dish and local favorite.

Day 5

Today you’ll get a taste for the unique flavors of Thai and ‘Akha’ cooking, on an included 6-hour cooking class. Your native host will help you discover the culture and cuisine of the Akha people, an indigenous hill tribe of Southeast Asia.

Visit the local market to shop for ingredients, living life as the locals do, then head back to learn how to prepare 11 different dishes. You’ll get to sample all the tasty meals you’ve made, plus you’ll leave with a souvenir cookbook to remember your session by – perhaps you’ll recreate the dishes once you’re back home!

Day 6

Spend your morning visiting the temples of the Old City (if you haven’t already) – Wat Chiedi Luang, Wat Pan Tao, Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chiedi Man, all within easy walking distance of each other. Stop for lunch and grab a coffee at a local café – the region is famed for it’s delicious coffees!

This evening, a trip to the Chiang Mai Night Market is a must. There’s a friendly, bustling atmosphere here and it’s the perfect place to pick up some souvenirs. Enroute back to your hotel, stop at Nimmanhaemin Road to check out the area’s boutiques and fabulous restaurants.

Day 7

Make your way to the airport for your flight to Phuket, Thailand’s largest and most popular island.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, then head out to explore this breath-takingly beautiful mountainous island, strolling along white sandy beaches with crystal-clear waters. This evening, head out for dinner then experience the vibrant nightlife scene Phuket is famous for.

Day 8

Today you’ll set sail on an incredible James Bond Island tour aboard a luxury yacht. Experience the island just like Bond, in ultimate luxury with a welcome drink and a delicious buffet lunch. Swim off Lawa Island, then jump into a kayak to paddle the cave at the Hongs of Phang Nga.

Afterward, you’ll discover James Bond Island by longboat, then head back to Phuket accompanied by a beautiful sunset dinner. This is a day you’ll never forget.

Day 9

Take advantage of your final day in Phuket by visiting any of the sights you haven’t yet. Perhaps you’d like to add a Phi Phi Island tour to your itinerary; you’ll get to see the setting of the Leonardo Di Caprio film ‘The Beach’ and visit the sobering Tsunami Memorial Garden.

If you haven’t already, a Thai massage at your hotel or from a street-side masseuse (this is an incredibly cheap option!) to relax after your holiday is a must.

Day 10

Sadly, your trip has come to an end. A representative will meet you at your hotel to escort you to Phuket Airport for your flight home.
