Day-by-Day Itinerary

Please note that the below sample itinerary is not representative of your final itinerary (unless you choose not to personalize it further). The purpose of this itinerary is to provide you with a general idea of what your day might look like. Your actual day-by-day itinerary will be fully customized to suit your trip schedule and specific needs.

Day 1

Today you’ll fly to Cancun. After clearing immigration and customs, a representative will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel.

Check-in, then head out to explore Cancun! Head straight to Playa Delfines, one of Cancun’s best beaches. Relax after traveling, soaking up the sun, strolling on the white sands and paddling in the crystal-clear waters. The beach boasts miles of pretty coastline, meaning there’s great views and it’s rarely crowded. Afterward, head back to your hotel for your evening meal.

Day 2

Get up early today to explore the El Rey Ruins, one of the most popular attractions in Cancun. The ruins are an important historical location featured on the ancient Mayan trade route and have an extremely interesting history.

Discover the ruins, the Mayan mural paintings, and interesting artifacts, plus keep an eye out for the iguanas that live there – they’ll come right up to you!

Afterward, head to Playa Tortugas for a beach swim and a spot of lunch. Wander along the pier, then perhaps visit the Maya Cancun Museum to learn about the history of Cancun and the Mayan civilization. After a long day, head back to your hotel for a meal and some evening entertainment.

Day 3

Head to Cenote Il Kil today, a large sinkhole on the Yucatan Peninsula. If you’d like to add this to your itinerary as a tour, please let us know.

This beautiful phenomenon is 26 meters in depth and is a stunning natural swimming pool draped with vines and tree roots that hang from the ceiling. Entry is around 4 USD, though if you’re headed there on a tour, this will be included in the price. If you’re an adventure seeker, diving into the crystal-clear waters is a must! Be prepared for a chill, though, as the water is pretty cold. This is a magical day out and a truly memorable experience.

Day 4

After a long few days of exploring, why not relax today and make the most of your hotel’s facilities, or take part in some included activities? Try your hand at snorkeling, take up a water sport, or simply relax pool side.

If you want to spend your day out and about, head to Parque de Las Palapas to try authentic Mexican street food. There are so many different vendors to try from, but be sure to try machacado, a Mexican version of shave ice. It’s a great way to cool off from the heat (enchiladas and tacos are must-tries too!).

Day 5

No trip to Mexico would be complete without a trip to Chichen Itza, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. This is one of the largest Mayan archaeological sites and comprises of 17 structures, featuring intricate pyramids and temples.

See the Pyramid of Kukulcan, the most visited structure and the tallest in the center of the complex. When the sun sets during spring and fall, it casts a shadow of a large snake along the building. Learn more about Mayan history, then head back to your hotel. Experience the nightlife Cancun is famous for tonight, with a trip to a local bar or nightclub.

Day 6

Sadly, your trip has come to an end. A representative will be waiting at your hotel to take you to the airport.

Additional Days

Should you wish to add extra days to existing cities/destinations or add new destinations to your pre-designed package, you will be able to do so during the submission process. Your final package cost will also change depending on how many additional travel components are needed for the extra days.
